Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife Beth Chapman has filed a lawsuit against Oklahoma bounty hunter Lionel “Lenny” Biggers for attacking her on social media and trying to ruin her campaign to become president of the Professional Bail Agents of the U.S.

Biggers and his family responded to the accusations this week, saying that Chapman has filed a number of false claims in her petition.

“My dad is not inexperienced by any means,” Biggers’ son Hunter Gotcher said, adding that his father has been a licensed bounty hunter for 30 years. “His capture rate is very high.”

According to The Edmond Sun, Chapman’s lawsuit alleges that Biggers “sought to have a career and a presence similar to the Chapmans… .” before his business, Renegade Fugitive Recovery, was shut down earlier this year. She claims that Biggers is trying to get revenge on her family because he blames them for his business failing.

Gotcher say this is a lie, and that his father is instead trying to petition for better laws in Oklahoma regarding bounty hunters. He is confident that his father will still land on his feet.

“My dad has attended all of those classes, making him one of the few legal bounty hunters in Oklahoma,” Gotcher said.
