Last week, we reported that authorities were considering charging Caitlyn Jenner with vehicular manslaughter for a fatal car accident she caused back in February. Prosecutors are still deciding whether or not to charge Jenner, and the reality TV star recently broke her silence about the incident and her fears about jail.

While speaking to Matt Laurer on the Today show, Jenner denied any wrongdoing in the crash and said that speed was not a factor in the incident.

“I remember it happening. That’s about it,” Jenner said of the crash, according to Daily Mail. “A tragedy like this, you’ll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.”

When asked about the possibility of going to jail, Jenner feebly tried to make a joke.

“The media wants that picture, don’t they?” Jenner said, referring to her potential mugshot. Then, however, she got serious.

“That is the worst case scenario. I don’t know. We’ll see. The Men’s County Jail. It is an enormous problem that they would put trans-women in Men’s County Jail,” she commented, showing how afraid she is of prison.

Jenner also told Laurer that she has no regrets about her transition.

“There’s nothing more, nothing better in life to wake up in the morning, look at yourself in the mirror and feel comfortable with yourself and who you are,” she told the host.
