Ranchers in California shot a wild hog on their property. They were shocked at what they found inside of the animal when they cut it open…

The insides were BLUE!

An in-law of the rancher reportedly said, “I know blue pigmentation is often caused from copper poisoning but all that they have are some old mercury mine shafts that they have filled in. They have also shot wild pigs on the ranch before and none of them have been blue.”

He continued, “Everything else about the pig was normal, the meat, blood, etc. The only weird part was the blue fat throughout the body.”

The family is totally stumped about what they’ve found. The pig has been sent off to a lab in the area for further inspection.

Any idea why the pig’s insides are blue? Have you ever encountered anything like this?
