There is currently a major shortage of truckers in this country, so various companies are upping their game to make trucking a business that people actually want to go into.

According to American Overlook, companies are now paying truck manufacturers up to $250,000 to make the cabins of their trucks more luxurious. In the past, truckers have slept on metal floors of the cabins of their trucks, but those days are gone!

Standard cabins for an 18-wheeler cost about $45,000, but with these luxurious additions, the cabins for a deluxe sleeper from Bolt now exceed $200,000.

The cabins are equipped with mini-kitchens as well as sinks, cupboards, and beds. Some of them even have showers!

The hope is that these improvements will make the lives of truckers more enjoyable, which will encourage more people to enter the business. Do you think this will work? Let us know in the comments section!
