Donald Trump has been the GOP frontrunner for months now, so his family is already preparing for a potential move to the White House.

Surprisingly, this is not as much of a positive thing for the family as you may think.

During an interview this week, Ivanka Trump admitted that her feelings about her father’s presidential bid are “complicated.”

“I’m incredibly proud of him, it’s an incredibly difficult thing to do,” she said of Trump’s run, according to New York Daily News. “As a citizen, I love what he’s doing.”

“As a daughter, it’s obviously more complicated,” Ivanka, 33, added.

Though her personal feelings about the run are complicated, she could not deny her father’s popularity.

“Whether you disagree or you agree, I think people appreciate the candor of his dialogue,” Ivanka continued. “It’s sort of regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum. I think everybody can appreciate the fact that he’s creating dialogue.”

What do you think about what Ivanka had to say? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
