Millions of NASCAR fans were heartbroken over the weekend when legend Jeff Gordon competed in his final race, putting an end to his amazing career.

According to Q Political, 44 year-old Gordon said goodbye to the sport he loved after competing for his fifth Sprint Cup championship win. Having already won 93 races in 23 full seasons, Gordon would make history by winning the championship for the fifth time.

“He’s the sport’s all-time money winner, all-time leader in consecutive starts, second all-time in top-10 finishes and third in top-5s. He’s second all-time in Driver Rating, a stat that’s only existed during the second half of his career,” ESPN’s Ryan McGee wrote, paying tribute to the legend.

Good luck with the next chapter of your life, Gordon! We will miss you!
