NASCAR legend Dale Earhardt Jr. has been a professional racer for 16 years now, so it’s rare that he achieves something that he’s never done before. However, he did just that on Sunday with his win at the Phoenix International Raceway.

According to NASCAR.comQuicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 win gave Earnhardt Jr. three wins this season. Last year, the racer got four victories, so this is the first time in his career that he’s won three or more races in consecutive seasons.

Earnhardt Jr. also got three victories back in 2001, and his season with the most wins was in 2004, when he got a whopping six victories.

Earnhardt Jr. now has 26 victories in his career, tying him with the 27th most victories in NASCAR history with Denny Hamlin and NASCAR Hall of Famer Fred Lorenzen. We can’t wait to see Earnhart Jr. score some more wins!
