Chopping vegetables can be a challenge. But, there are a couple of simple tricks you can use to help make this safer and faster.

One important thing to do when cutting up veggies is to make sure the cutting board doesn’t slide around on the countertop. A wiggle from your cutting board could result in a wound! But, if you give the board something to give it some grip, the problem is solved.

Here are two simple techniques:

  1. You can put a couple of rubber bands on the ends of the cutting board. This will give it some texture and will help keep it in place.
  2. You also can simply use a wet paper towel. Just stick one right under the cutting board.
