Just a month after the deadly terrorist attack in Paris that left 130 people dead, yet another city in France has been targeted by extremists.

New reports say that fourteen members of the Jewish community of Bonneuil-sur-Marne were poisoned by a “toxic substance” applied to the keypad of an electronic lock attached to their synagogue. According to The Political Insiders, the Jewish community members called police after they began experiencing serious burning sensations in their eyes and “itchy rashes on their skin.”

Twenty-five firemen rushed to the scene to treat the victims and trace the source of the poison, which they eventually found to have come from a daubed lock. The substance has been described as a “nonlethal irritant” that has been sent to police labs for analysis.

The attack was clearly well planned, as the terrorists waited for a lull in the presence of military personnel who typically guard the synagogue around the clock. It is unclear at this time whether the attack was conducted by ISIS, but it seems very likely that it was.
