Garth Brooks was just about to start singing “The Dance” at his Minneapolis concert, then he suddenly stopped the show.

Teresa Shaw was in the crowd holding a sign that said, “Chemo this morning, Garth tonight, enjoying, ‘The Dance’.” Garth read the sign and had to acknowledge it.

His mother and sister had died of cancer, so this is personal to him. He took this as a sign from God. He acknowledged Teresa and got the entire crowd to cheer her on.

Teresa made the 3-4 hour drive from Iowa to attend the concert after getting chemotherapy that morning. But, music is good medicine and a Garth Brooks concert seems like an important part of her treatment!

If you enjoyed this, please share it!
