When you are at your lowest, having a goal can help motivate you to see things differently. And that’s what happened to Amber Mills.

The Marine veteran has multiple sclerosis and other health problems. Her health made her feel “emotionally defeated” as her life changed. But, a contest helped change that.

Amber entered a contest to create a dress using only toilet paper, glue, tape, needle and thread. She began by boiling pink Charmin toilet paper. It took her 6 hours to create each piece. As you can see in the video, she detailed each piece by lacing it.

The mother of three didn’t have any dress making experience, but she pushed her boundaries. And through this accomplishment and sense of purpose, she was able to combat her depression.

What do you think of this dress? Would you wear a dress made of toilet paper?
