Yesterday, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump found himself in hot water when the Republican Party leaders officially turned on him. This caused many to believe Trump might drop out of the race, but don’t count him out yet…

In a Washington Post interview published Wednesday morning, Trump revealed he is not ever going to drop out of the race.

“I’m never backing out,” Trump told two Post reporters, according to The Blaze, adding that he could “handle” defeats in primary states.

“I will never leave the race,” the billionaire businessman reiterated when asked about comments he had made to NBC’s Chuck Todd a few months ago. “I. Will. Never. Leave. This. Race.”

The reporters were referring to the October interview in which he told Todd he would leave the race if his numbers drop too low.

“I’m not a masochist,” Trump said at the time. “If I was dropping in the polls where I saw that I wasn’t going to win, why would I continue?”

This latest interview confirms that Trump is solid in running for president, and suggests that he may consider an Independent run should he not secure the GOP nomination. What do you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
