A new commercial created by Scouts South Africa and Cape Town agency Not Norm is going viral this week, and when you see it you’ll know why.

Parents all over the world enroll their children in childhood organizations like scouts, cubs, and brownies to give them a sense of community, responsible, and leadership. However, these organizations can also teach them lessons they will remember for a lifetime.

According to Little Things, this ad features a young man pulling a drowning girl out of the water before using the first aid techniques he learned as a child to bring her back to life. The message of the commercial is “Learn it young, remember it forever,” and it really does get it’s message across beautifully!
