On Saturday, the Obamas landed in Hawaii to begin their annual multi-million dollar Christmas vacation in the state.

According to Daily Mail, Obama will remain in Hawaii until just after the new year, when he will return to the White House to see what he can get done during his final year in office despite the fact that congress is still controlled by Republicans. Ever the optimist, Obama appears confident that he will still be able to push his shameful agendas.

“Since taking this office, I’ve never been more optimistic about a year ahead than I am right now,” he said before leaving Washington. “And in 2016, I’m going to leave it out all on the field.”

The Obamas continued with their vacation despite a report published last week that showed the total cost of Obama’s vacations since taking office in 2009 has now hit $70.5 million. This figure means nothing to the Obamas, however, and they will undoubtedly try to spend as many of our tax dollars as they can before they leave office next year.
