Conservatives everywhere are counting down the days until the Obamas finally leave the White House at the end of 2016. Now, the first family has finally revealed where they’re headed, and the announcement has left many stunned.

According to New Republic, the Obamas will be staying in Washington D.C. for the next three years so that their 15 year-old daughter can finish high school. The family is reportedly already looking at homes in the tony Kalorama and Embassy Row neighborhoods.

While there has been speculation in the past that the Obamas were planning moves to New York, Chicago, or Hawaii after leaving office, Obama has been hinting since 2013 that they will stay in Washington for a little while for Sasha.

“We gotta make sure that she’s doin’ well … until she goes off to college,” Obama told ABC News’ Barbara Walters in a 2013 interview. “Sasha will have a big say in where we are.”

This will undoubtedly come as bad news to many in Washington who were excited to be rid of the Obamas, but it also appears clear that this is only temporary. Once Sasha graduates high school, the Obamas will undoubtedly move somewhere else and inflict a new city with their filth!
