GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s family had front row seats to last night’s debate, so they were right there when their father revealed what he plans to do with his business empire should he become president.
During the debate, Trump turned to his children and said “run the company kids, have a good time,” indicating he will be handing the reigns over to them when he enters the White House.
“If I become president, I couldn’t care less about my company. It’s peanuts,” Trump said, according to Daily Mail. “I have Ivanka, and Eric and Don sitting there. Run the company kids! Have a good time. I’m going to do it for America.”
After the debate, Trump’s son Eric told reporters that they have already discussed a plan for the business should Trump win the election.
“Absolutely,” Eric said. “It’s not hypothetical. There’s a succession plan in place. We’ve been in the company for years and years and we’re ready.”
The Trump kids had better get ready, because it looks like they’ll be running a major business empire very soon!
