Sarah Palin’s oldest son Track was arrested at her home on Monday night. The 26 year old Iraq combat veteran allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face, kicked her in the knee and threatened to shoot himself in the head with an AR-15.

Track’s girlfriend reported that he was drunk. The couple had gone to dinner and then to Bristol’s home before heading back to Track’s parents home where things got heated.

The police report states that Palin knocked away his girlfriend’s cell phone when she went to call for help. Officers found the girlfriend hiding under a bed. She had bruising and swelling around her eye.

Wasilla Police issued a statement saying, “Palin was arrested and charges of assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence), interfering with a domestic violence report, and misconduct involving weapons in the fourth degree were forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.”

Palin family attorney John Tiemessen requested privacy for the family “as Track receives the help that he and many of our returning veterans need.”

The former Alaska Governor didn’t make mention of this while endorsing Donald Trump’s White House bid.
