When Obama first announced his plan to open our borders to thousands of Muslim “refugees,” Texas Governor Greg Abbott was one of the most outspoken public figures to voice their objections to this plan. Abbott controversially announced that his state would not be accepting any refugees, and liberals quickly publicly shamed him for it.

Now, however, it has been proven that Abbott was right all along.

Last week, an Iraqi refugee was arrested in Houston Texas after a major terror plot of his was foiled. According to World Daily Online, Abbott was quick to thank the authorities for stopping the wannabe terrorist, and also offered some choice words for Obama.

“I applaud the FBI for today’s arrest of this dangerous subject. However, this is precisely why I called for a halt to refugees entering the U.S. from countries substantially controlled by terrorists,” Governor Abbott said in an interview. “I once again urge the President to halt the resettlement of these refugees in the United States until there is an effective vetting process that will ensure refugees do not compromise the safety of Americans and Texans.”

We thank God that this terrorist plot was foiled, but next time, we might not get so lucky. SHARE this story if you think we need to throw the “refugees” OUT of our country!
