Yesterday, we reported that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin had stunned the GOP establishment by officially endorsing frontrunner Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race. Now, Trump has been asked directly if he plans to make Palin his Vice President, and his response may surprise you.

During a phone interview with NBC’s “Today” Wednesday, Trump was asked if he planned on tapping Pain to be his Vice President.

“Well, I don’t think that’s something she’d want to do, she’s been through that,” Trump responded, according to The Blaze.

Adding that he’s “not thinking” about a running mate and is only focused on trying to “win,” Trump went on to say that Palin will definitely have a role in his government if she wants one.

“I haven’t discussed anything with her about what she’d do, but she’s somebody I really like and I respect, and certainly she could play a position if she wanted to,” Trump concluded.
