At least five people are dead and ten more are injured after a bomb went off near the US embassy in Ankara, the capital of Turkey.

According to The Political Insider, an Islamic terrorist’s car bomb caused the explosion on Wednesday night, and the target of the attack was reportedly Turkish military officials. The bomb went off near the US embassy as a bus carrying military personnel passed by on the road.

Witnesses quickly began sharing images of the attack on Twitter.
