Early exit polls released by various news organizations have suggested that the months-long run-up to the New Hampshire Republican primary elections may have made little difference to the voters in the state.

According to Daily Mail, nearly half of the voters decided who they were going to vote for in the last three days, which is not good news for Donald Trump. This is bad for him because he might lose voters to candidates who spent more time in small, one-on-one meetings with the people of New Hampshire.

While 46% of voters said they made up their minds in the last three days, 65% said the most recent debates were the main factor in their decision. This is also not good for Trump, as he famously skipped the last Fox debate to raise $6 million for veterans at a benefit of his own.

Though he performed well in the one New Hampshire debate last weekend, experts say it may not have been enough to save him.
