Conservatives everywhere were furious on Sunday night after Beyonce shamelessly used her Super Bowl halftime show to slam our nation’s police officers.

The disgustingly unpatriotic performance has reminded us of the time that country music legend Carrie Underwood sang at the Super Bowl, but she chose to go a very different route than Beyonce did. According to Taste of Country, Carrie performed the “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl back in 2010.

Though the song is known as one of the most difficult ones to sing due to it’s enormous range, Carrie performed it beautifully. Unlike Beyonce, who used her moment in the spotlight to disrespect Americans in a sickening way, Carrie used hers to give thanks to the amazing country that she loves.
