A disturbing secret from Hillary Clinton’s past has surfaced, and it’s causing many to have second thoughts about voting her into the White House.

In a long-forgotten Dec. 30, 2007 interview that was recently rediscovered, Hillary her longtime friend and ABC News host George Stephanopoulos that she was “often provided” classified information during her husband’s presidency, despite the fact that she had no security clearance.

The interview was conducted weeks before the 2008 Iowa caucus, and Hillary was trying to make herself look like a strong and experienced choice in contrast to upstart Barack Obama, then a senator from Illinois. She made the comments after Stephanopoulos referenced a New York Times article that downplayed her foreign policy experience.

The Times reported:

“But during those two terms in the White House, Mrs. Clinton did not hold a security clearance. She did not attend National Security Council meetings. She was not given a copy of the president’s daily intelligence briefing. She did not assert herself on the crises in Somalia, Haiti and Rwanda.”

According to Daily Caller, Hillary shot this report down, saying her experience in her husband’s White House was “unique” and that she was “part of making history.” In a pathetic attempt to make herself look important, she then bragged about handling classified information:

“I had direct access to all of the decision-makers. I was briefed on a range of issues, often provided classified information…I can imagine what the stories would have been had I attended a National Security Council meeting.”

“And often when I traveled on behalf of our country, I traveled with representatives from the DOD, the CIA, the State Department. I think that my experience is unique, having been eight years in the White House, having, yes, been part of making history, and also been part of learning how to best present our country’s case. And now, seven years on the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue.”

Clearly, the word “classified” has no meaning to either of the Clintons. SHARE this story if you think Hillary Clinton should NEVER be president!
