Obama wants his presidential legacy to include releasing terrorists from Guantanamo Bay. Without concern to national security, Obama has released people like Ibrahim al-Qosi, who went on to be the leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), which has issued threats against New York City.
After capturing these terrorists, Obama works hard to set them free so they can harm us. And Col. Michael Bumgarner, formerly the commander of the guard force at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, has had enough of it.
The former Gitmo Warden from 2005-2006, spoke out against this insanity on Aaron Klein Investigative Radio.
Citing al-Qosi’s release, Bumgarner said, “How we ever believed this guy is going to be not a threat to the United States and or our allies is just beyond belief to me. Beyond belief.”
He slammed Obama and challenged that he cares nothing about our security. “He has thrown national security out the window so he has no reservations about what he’s doing,” Bumgarner said of Obama. “National security interests mean nothing to him. Al-Qosi is just a prime example. I mean, we have seen this with the Taliban Five.” The Taliban Five are five Gitmo detainees that were freed in exchange for traitor Bowe Bergdahl.
Just last month, President Obama released 10 known terrorists from Guantanamo Bay. Obama promised to close Gitmo. It seems he plans on doing this by freeing those men so they can harm us again.
