We all want to protect our property from burglars and there are some ways you can do that without spending a fortune.

When home invaders ransack homes looking for cash, jewelry or other valuables, they don’t usually take the time to go through every crevice in your house. They go to the places where people are most likely to store these things.

You can make your own safes that are in plain sight, but are so monotonous, they will be overlooked by these thugs.

Cutting out a hole in the bottom of your cabinet will give you a space to store things. Just pop the wood back in after you store your belongings and nobody will know. Just remember to get your stuff out before you move!

Clean out a jar of mayo. You can spray paint the inside so nothing looks suspicious. Nobody will suspect this is a safe.

It would be unlikely that a thief would steal your vacuum cleaner. You can store important papers inside.

And you can turn your own closet into a safe room to protect yourself or your family if your home is invaded. You don’t need to spend a fortune. Check out the video below to learn how you can just use a closet to protect yourself.
