Will Smith is upset that he wasn’t nominated for an Oscar. The star is participating and helping lead the #OscarsSoWhiteboycott of the awards ceremony because no African Americans were nominated. Apparently, Smith believes quotas should be applied even to Hollywood awards.

But, Jamie Foxx essentially called Will Smith and others boycotting the Oscars a bunch of whiny babies. Foxx, who is an Oscar winner, said there isn’t a reason to be upset. He addressed the issue at the American Black Film Festival Awards.

“All these Oscar talks, I don’t even trip about that. I mean, what’s the big deal? I was sitting at home with my Oscar, like ‘What’s all the hubbub?'”

Foxx joked that he called Denzel Washington to laugh at the faux outrage and they both Instragrammed each other pictures of their own Oscars.

Foxx took a jab at Smith by making fun of the Fresh Prince’s Nigerian accent in Concussion, the role Smith is upset he wasn’t nominated for. Foxx also suggested using the hashtags #WhatsTheBigDeal? and #ActBetter.

By bringing up an acting legend, Foxx further highlighted the ridiculousness of the boycott. “I was with Sidney Poitier just a couple weeks ago, and in 1963 all he asked for was an opportunity to act. That’s all we have to do, opportunity. If you turn the camera on and say ‘OK . . . win an award . . . and action,’ we’ll all have taken, like, 10 steps back. It’s all about the art. Who cares about anything else?”

Who do you agree with, Jamie Foxx or Will Smith? Let us know!
