On Tuesday, Michelle Obama “subtly” endorsed Hillary Clinton for president when she referred to her successor as a “first spouse.”

Michelle made the comments at the American Magazine Media conference in New York when she talked about how her successor might connect with younger people on social media.

“I’m pretty sure that the next administration, the next first spouse, if they want to be effective in communicating their message — oh you caught that?” she said, according to Today. “I’m just being neutral, because, you know, the world is big and interesting.”

“But the next first spouse is going to have to figure out how to connect with the audiences they’re trying to connect with, and who knows what the new platforms will be in the years to come,” Michelle added.

Clearly, Michelle is hoping that Bill Clinton will be taking her place next year as “first gentleman.”

Michelle, you have the subtlety of a rhinoceros. If you want to endorse Hillary Clinton, just come out and do it already!
