Conservatives everywhere were furious during the Super Bowl when Beyonce shamelessly used her Super Bowl halftime show to slam our nation’s police officers. Since then, attacks on American cops have increased at an alarming rate, and one sheriff has had enough.

Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold was sitting at home with his family on Monday when a series of shots were suddenly fired at his home.

“We all know, as soon as you put your uniform on, you’re a target,” he said at a press conference Tuesday morning, according to DNJ. “You make people mad when you’re just doing your job.”

Arnold went on to say that when he heard the shots, his first thought was that they had something to do with the Beyonce performance.

“You know, Beyonce’s video,” he replied when he was asked to clarify this comment.

“My comments reflect the violence and senseless killing of seven deputies in the U.S. since the show aired,” Arnold later added in an email. “My comments are an observation of the violence that has occurred but in no way is meant to offend anyone.”

Arnold’s email was accompanied by a link to The National Sheriff’s Association’s website, which offered the following statement:

“The senseless killing of four law enforcement officers just this week — on the heels of the anti-police “entertainment” at the Sunday Super Bowl halftime show — reminds us that the men and women in law enforcement take a solemn oath that includes putting their lives on the line every day to protect our citizens.”

Find out more about this in the video below.

We thank God that nobody was injured in this attack on Arnold’s home, but other police officers haven’t been so lucky. Until Beyonce publicly apologizes for her performance, the lives of American police officers everywhere will be in danger. SHARE if you think Beyonce should be BOYCOTTED until she apologizes to our nation’s cops!
