Last week, we reported that Barack Obama had decided he would not be attending the funeral of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on Saturday. Now, this decision has come back to bite him in a big way.

According to Daily Mail, the Italian-American community has publicly turned on Obama and slammed him for skipping the funeral. Philip Fogalia, the vice president of the Italian-American museum, said Italian-Americans take going to funerals “very seriously.”

“Justice Scalia was a milestone for the community,” he told the New York Post. “The president’s absence was disappointing and ill-advised.”

Neil Mattera, the president of the New York-based Columbus Alliance, added that the snub was a slight to the entire Italian American community. This came after GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump took to Twitter to criticize Obama for not going to the funeral.

We’re glad to see that Obama is getting attacked for skipping the funeral. SHARE this story if you think what he did was WRONG!
