On Tuesday, Barack Obama tried to humiliate GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump in front of the entire nation. Unfortunately for the president, however, his words have just come back to bite him in a big way.

“I continue to believe Trump will not be president,” Obama said, adding that the job is not like “hosting a reality television show.”

It didn’t take long for Trump to fire back with a brutal takedown of Obama during a South Carolina campaign event.

“He has done such a lousy job as president,” Trump responded, according to Breitbart.

“You look at our budgets,” Trump continued, citing the fact that we are $19 trillion in debt. “We can’t beat ISIS.”

“Obamacare is terrible… our borders are like swiss cheese,” The Donald added. “He has set us back so far [that] for him to say that is a great compliment.”

When the networks asked Trump to comment on what Obama said about him, he gave an equally blunt response.

“You’re lucky I didn’t run last time when Romney ran, because you would have been a one-term president,” Trump said, adding that “The World Trade Center would still be standing” if he had been elected in 1998 over Bill Clinton.
