Teresa Guidice is speaking out about her prison stint. The Real Housewife from New Jersey was released from prison in December.

“Hollywood,” as her fellow inmates called her, began her sentence by having to give up her rhinestone studded jacket and leggings to be strip searched. She had five roommates and her cell was known as “The Boom Boom Room” because of the sexual escapades between cellmates. Teresa claims she didn’t participate. Instead, she waited for her husband Joe.

Teresa found other inmates willing to provide spa services for her. She found someone do to her nails, another gave her massages and she also got her hair done while in prison. She even paid the prison seamstress extra to tailor her prison attire.

After a fellow inmate accused her of hiding a cell phone, Teresa’s cell was tossed and searched by corrections officers. Although no phone was found, the event still proved embarrassing to the pampered housewife.

After serving her term for conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud, she was greeted with a $90,000 Lexus as a gift from Joe. The usual luxury gift following jail time served for financial crimes.

But, Joe will soon be heading to prison himself for 41 months. The couple’s prison sentences were staggered so one parent can be with their four girls.

However, Joe will not be able to go to a minimum level security prison, since he isn’t a United States citizen. Because of this, he will have a much different experience than his wife. He immigrated from Italy as a toddler and although he never became a citizen, he is a Lawful Permanent Resident, but he may be facing deportation after he completes his sentence.

Teresa has penned a book about her prison life. “Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again” deals with all the juicy and monotonous aspects of prison life she faced for 11 months.

What do you think Teresa will do if Joe is deported?
