Three Chicago police officers were shot Monday night. One was shot in the back, one in the foot and the third was shot in the chest. It is being reported that the one who was shot in the chest was protected by a bullet proof vest.

All three officers with 11th District Tactical Team are expected to survive.

They were responding to complaints about narcotics when they saw a suspicious looking man and woman. The officers approached the pair and things escalated quickly. At least of the cops returned fire, killing the shooter. The woman is now in custody.

This obviously is alarming as violence in Chicago seems to be ever present. Black Lives Matter protestors disrupted the Trump rally there over the weekend, causing havoc for police officers. And right on the heels of that, three Chicago cops were shot.

This is the city President Obama calls home. Do you think he will address this? Please share your thoughts.
