Today is arguably the most important election day for the Republican presidential primary, and the results are already pouring in.

According to The Political Insider, Trump won his first primary of the day this morning when he came out victorious in the Northern Marina Islands Republican Caucus. This win added nine more delegates to his campaign.

Last Friday, Trump was endorsed by the territory’s governor Ralph Torres, and the support of Ben Carson likely helped him as well. Jason Osborne, executive director of the territory’s GOP party, was previously part of Carson’s campaign, and he recently also endorsed Trump.

Trump won by a landslide in the territory with 72.8% of the vote, with Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) coming in 2nd with 23.9%. Ohio Governor John Kasich and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) each got less than 2% of the vote.
