How Joey Feek battled her cancer has inspired so many people. She accepted the fact that she was dying by embracing her Christianity. Her faith in such adverse conditions was so strong that it has inspired others.

She passed away over the weekend. Her obituary shares something so touching that it will make you grab for some Kleenex. She was hopeful that sharing her story with the world would turn one person to Christ. This hope did come true.

While she was sick, her father accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

“All of this was worth it if my story brought one person to Christ,” Mrs. Feek said before her death. “The fact it was my daddy,” she paused as her voice broke with emotion. “I’m so proud.”

She inspired her own father to become a Christian. And I’m sure he’s not the only one. There are many lessons in life. Dying is part of life. And dying well can not only show us a reflection of one’s character but it can inspire others to actually live well. Joey accomplished this.

Were you moved by the Feeks sharing their journey? Please share your thoughts.
