Bernie Sanders may be slowing down Hillary Clinton’s momentum, but he has a real Achilles heel that might prove to be a big issue for him – his wife Jane O’Meara Sanders.

Catholic parishioners in Vermont want the Socialist Senator’s wife investigated for federal bank fraud. The problem arose when she was president of Burlington College. A letter sent to a US Attorney on behalf of local Catholics charge that Mrs. Sanders misrepresented the college’s fundraising commitments to secure a loan to purchase land from the Diocese.

The college defaulted and the Diocese ended up losing between $1.5 – $2 million because of Sanders’s deceitful actions. That’s less money not just for religious purposes, but for a significant amount of charitable things the Diocese does.

Her irresponsibility almost caused Burlington College to collapse and close. This is the Sanders fiscal policy that Democrats are flocking to!

The letter soliciting an investigation into this alleged wrongdoing states that defrauding a bank is punishable in up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine. That’s some steep time for a wannabe First Lady.

As if the Democrats didn’t have enough concerns about possible criminal charges against Hillary, here comes this information!

Sanders claimed the college had $1.2 million in pledges in 2011, but they only raised $279,000. That is a huge discrepancy and it’s easy to see how the fiscal Sanders policy at Burlington quickly collapsed. Sadly, the Catholic Diocese suffered as a result of Sanders’s misleading actions.

Is this how Bernie Sanders would balance the budget? Sounds like Bernie’s wife shares the same belief he does – that money grows on trees. Well, there is no such thing as a money tree. What she did was shaft Catholics, but maybe she will be led away in handcuffs because of it.

How do you think this should be handled? Please share this story and your thoughts.
