A North Carolina Middle School choir got a first hand lesson in how patriotism isn’t appropriate or wanted in Obama’s America.

The youngsters were on a trip to the 9/11 Memorial in New York City. They sang the National Anthem as a way to honor those Americans who were murdered there by terrorists. But, apparently patriotism isn’t permitted at that site.

Halfway through their performance, they were interrupted by security guards who demanded they stop their lovely performance for an infuriating reason. Apparently, these children were committing a crime because they didn’t have a permit.

Listen to how great they sounded! Why was this a problem? They would have soon been done with the song!

So, while Occupy Wall Street was able to squat wherever they wanted for months, these kids, most of whom weren’t even born on 9/11/2001, were required to get a permit to sing the National Anthem. I guess the First Amendment doesn’t apply in New York City if you are doing something patriotic.

This garbage is becoming all too common place. Please share this to get the word out that we have to stick up to this nonsense!

If you were the choir director, how would you have responded when told to shut the kids up? Please share your thoughts.
