Two US Senators blew the whistle on President Obama’s plans to help fund Iran’s role in terrorism and ballistic weapon buildup.

Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Mark Kirk (R-IL) warned that the White House is working to give an increased sanctions relief package, including access to American financial markets and the US dollar. Given Iran’s involvement in money laundering, this could have a very negative impact on the US economy .

“We are gravely alarmed by news reports suggesting the administration is working to give Iran access to the U.S. financial system or to dollar transactions outside of the U.S. financial system,” Rubio and Kirk wrote. “Any such effort would benefit Iran’s financiers of international terrorism, human rights abuses, and ballistic missile threats.”

Both Senators also wrote legislation that would increase sanctions on the country over their testing of ballistic missiles.

While most Americans recognize that Iran is a hostile nation whose leader wants to wipe us off the map, President Obama seems to be greeting them with open arms. Watch the video below in which the President says Iran won’t pursue nuclear weapons because it would be “contrary to their faith.”

Whose side do you think Barack Obama is on? Please share your thoughts.
