A man claiming to be a woman was allowed in a women’s dressing room at a Ross department store in Mesquite, Texas on Monday. Lisa Stickles was trying on new clothes and was shocked when she “heard a man’s voice.”

She immediately reported this to a manager who claimed that “he was representing himself as a woman today.”

However, the man claiming to be a woman “had on jeans, a t-shirt, 5 o’clock shadow, [and] a very deep voice.” Lisa Stickles insisted, “He was a man.”

She was also appalled when the manger told her that if she felt uncomfortable in the dressing room with him there, she would have to wait until he was finished. She had enough at this point telling the manager, “Take the clothes back. I’m not going to try anything on here anyway.”

A Ross spokesman reportedly noted the company does not discriminate against the transgender community. In fact, along with Target, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls they allow customers to use restrooms and dressing rooms based on their gender identity. Watch Lisa explain her ordeal:

Share this if you feel there is no reason a man should be in a woman’s room!
