Obama is in the last year of his Presidency and he apparently believes he doesn’t have important work to do.

Like fighting ISIS or implementing policies that don’t have our economy growing at measly 0.5 percentage rate.

But no.

The Obama administration believes issuing “guidelines” about public school bathrooms is where they should focus their time:

The Obama administration on Friday will direct schools across the nation to provide transgender students with access to suitable facilities — including bathrooms and locker rooms — that match their chosen gender identity.

The move, which will affect all public schools and most colleges and universities that receive federal funds, plunges the administration even further into the country’s ongoing contentious debate over transgender rights.

Note the pertinent fact regarding receiving federal funds. This is nothing but a veiled threat to public schools across the country: Allow kids to use whatever bathroom they want or lose money.

God bless America.

Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska recognizes the absurdity of the Obama administration getting involved in this. Last night he tweeted:

Sasse is absolutely right. There is no reason whatsoever for the federal government to be making these decrees to schools at a local level. This illustrates the “deal with the devil” mistake states and localities make when they choose to accept federal funds.

Still, the Obama administration has no business doing this. It’s picking a fight for the sake of picking a fight and has nothing to do with “equality.”

You should share this with others, especially parents. They are going to have a fight on their hands coming up. If you’re a parent, do you want your 6-year-old daughter sharing a bathroom with a 12-year-old boy? I certainly wouldn’t. This madness needs to stop.
