They don’t make movies like they used to. You’d never see today’s movie stars dancing quite like Bob Hope and James Cagney! Both of these men were consummate entertainers. They were well-rounded performers who entertained us on many levels.

Watch their amazing dance from Yankee Doodle Dandy in the video below. You sure don’t see anything like this out of Hollywood these days!

Now, that’s how it’s done! Tap dance is a lost art form. These men had serious skill that young entertainers should study!

As a proud American, Bob Hope took his routine on the road to entertain our troops. For decades, he did USO shows for our deployed troops. He never forgot how much these men and women sacrificed for our freedoms! He showed his gratitude by performing for them. Today’s A-Listers don’t do this like Bob Hope did!

Wishing all veterans and all the brave men and women currently serving a safe and happy Veteran’s Day! Bob Hope was represented by the Agency that had residency in @thehouseonsunset and was one of the most adamant supporters of America’s troops. Hope lead by example in bringing Hollywood’s best talent oversees on the USO tours to bring light and laughter over decades to active duty military. He truly took charge in making sure performers brought their talents to give the troops great memories. His song “Thanks for the Memory” became an Academy Award winning song and became the closing song to all USO shows. We will be playing that song today in honor of all troops and of Mr. Hope and his dedication. . . . . . #bobhope #veteransday #veteran #supportourtroops #bobhope #usotour #thehouseonsunset #sunsetstrip #sunsetboulevard #hollywoodhills #beverlyhills #blackandwhite #vintage #oldhollywood #usotour #thanksforthememory #soldiers #army #airforce #hollywood #icons #actors #academyaward
