Celebrities at times always want to make it seem as though they are actually in touch with the commoners. In reality, so many of them have been living in a bubble for so long, when they try to pretend they’re still the same people, it just comes off as phony.

Enter ‘America’s Got Talent’ Nick Cannon. He joined Black Lives Matter protests at the Republican National Convention.

Now, Cannon has likely not had a brush with the law in a long time. When he separated from Mariah Carey, he moved into a house in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. The rent is $11,000 a month and he has the option to buy for $3 million.

Here is a photo of the house:

He wouldn’t know about policing in his neighborhood so this video of him talking about it is pretty absurd:

Here is part of what he said:

“They’re policing our communities. We don’t need to be policed, ” Cannon said. “It’s that mentality that ‘Oh, it’s unsafe. Oh, we have to go in.’ And that they have a certain type of authority over us. That’s not the case.”

“I”m pretty sure in your community, there’s not people policing your community,” Cannon continued. “They’re protecting it.”

Come on. If anybody has benefited from the presence of police officers in the community, it is African-Americans, more of whom live in neighborhoods where crime is higher.

This is nothing but a publicity stunt for Cannon and he should be called out on it.

Share with others to EXPOSE Nick Cannon and his contempt for the Police.
