Shots have been fired at the Berrien County Courthouse in Southwest Michigan according to the Michigan State Police.

The news broke on twitter.

And there is live footage from outside the courthouse detailing a heavy police presence:

Reports indicate one officer has been injured taking a gun shot wound to the arm and finger. There are also reports that 3 people have been killed.

It appears now that the shooter stole a gun from a deputy and began firing:

The violence must be stopped. Governor Snyder is calling for prayers.
