Pizza is a favorite food for many of us. It’s also a lifesaver for one Florida woman.

Cheryl Treadway and her three children were being held hostage in her home by her boyfriend. The mother used the Pizza Hut app to order pizza and call for help. She wrote on her order that she needed 911.

When police showed up at Treadway’s door, they found her boyfriend strung out on drugs, holding them at knifepoint.

Thankfully, those Pizza Hut employees took the time to notice the writing! You can learn more about the outcome in the video below.

This mom had to get creative since she couldn’t make a phone call. Pizza Hut recognized her since she was a frequent customer. Thank God she was a fast thinker!

Please share this if you are glad they are safe!
