Ribs are a favorite food for many. It’s hard to resist ribs done right. The recipe below from One Country holds a lot of promise and is one you might want to try the next time you are craving a meaty masterpiece. The honey and ginger provide a sweet and tangy flavor that make these irresistible.

6 pounds pork spareribs
2 medium onions, cut into wedges
1 medium onion, finely chopped
6 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a large (5 to 6 quart) stock pot, place meat with wedged onions, 4 tablespoons soy sauce, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium low and simmer until meat is tender.
Heat oil in medium skillet on medium heat. Add the rest of the onion and saute until onion is soft. Add in ginger, honey, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and the rest of the soy sauce. Cook until blended.
Remove ribs from stock pot and arrange on the baking dish. Brush with honey mixture and bake, basting with pan drippings until ribs are glazed. Serve and enjoy.
