Former Chicago Bears Coach Mike Ditka has an opinion of Colin Kaepernick – and it’s not good. When asked about the San Francisco quarterback’s protest of the National Anthem, Ditka didn’t hold back.

“I think it’s a problem, anybody who disrespects this country and the flag,” the ESPN pundit and former NFL coach and player told KRLD-FM. “If they don’t like the country, if they don’t like our flag, get the hell out.”

It’s clear that Ditka has had enough of this nonsense. Kaepernick wouldn’t be playing for Da Bears if Ditka was still coaching. You can hear Coach in his own words in the video below.

I agree with Ditka. I wouldn’t be paying money for tickets that benefit a washed up quarterback. Perhaps this is just Kaepernick’s disrespectful way of staying in the limelight.

In any case, the NFL should require players stand for the National Anthem and pay respect to the country and soldiers who have fought and died to allow them to play football.

There’s a petition trending on StandUnited.org calling for all players to stand  for the National Anthem. Check out the number of signatures it’s garnered already.

Share if you agree with Mike Ditka!
