A Michigan Township took a bold stand against Obama and Hillary’s red carpet welcome to Syrian refugees.

Waterford Township’s Board of Trustees unanimously voted for a resolution stating refugees aren’t welcome there until the government effectively vets them.

This resolution says Waterford “will not actively participate in the Refugee Resettlement Program until the Program has been significantly reformed, and until it has been demonstrated that the Townships of Oakland County have the capacity to absorb refugees without diverting funds from needy residents or exposing their residents to unwarranted security risks.”

The vote is largely symbolic as after refugees are permitted here, they can go wherever they chose, but this is an important pushback in a volatile election year. People are concerned about terrorism and their personal safety.

Europe has been a hotbed of terror since so many refugees have invaded. A vast majority of these people are not a threat, but terrorists have embedded with them as a way to gain access to victims. Not properly vetting them is putting us all at risk. This naive approach is what Hillary Clinton is pushing, while Donald Trump accepts the common sense way.

As the video below details, the Board of Trustees methodically considered both sides before voting. Ultimately, they decided to stand in support of citizens who are concerned with safety.

I stand with Waterford Township! I would love if my city did this as well! It would send a message to Hillary and Obama that we aren’t with them!

Please share this if you would support this resolution in your city!
