Donald Trump has a broad base of support. People from all walks of life are coming out to vote for him. And this includes Black religious leaders.
The Democrats use Black Americans for their votes and then forget about them. That has caused quite a few people to look at Donald Trump as an option. Not everyone takes their marching orders from Al Sharpton!
Dr. Jacqueline Rivers is a Harvard educated sociologist and Executive Director and Senior Fellow of the Seymour Institute for Black Church and Policy Studies in Boston. She presented a letter titled, “Open Letter to Hillary Clinton Regarding Religious Freedom for Black America” that is signed by Black religious leaders throughout the United States.
The letter is sure to infuriate liberals. It reads in part:
Almost 80 percent of all African Americans belong to one of the historically black denominations, which have provided leadership on issues of social justice since the era of slavery.
· Church leaders are concerned about unemployment in the black community, especially among young black men who experience rates as high as 33 percent.
· They are deeply troubled by the fact that in 2013 more black babies were aborted in New York City than were born.
· They call for justice in cases of reprehensible behavior of police officers in dealing with unarmed black men as in the Eric Garner case.
· Fundamental to their concerns in all of these issues is their right as religious leaders to minister to their own members and to the black poor, regardless of their religious beliefs, in a manner consistent with their faith convictions.
As those who have challenged structural and racial injustice for many decades leaders in the black church affirm the centrality of religious faith to their actions. These leaders insist on their constitutional right to their religious beliefs and on the freedom to act on them in the public square.
As leaders of the Pentecostal-Charismatic wing of the black church, (the signatories) are requesting a meeting to discuss some of the critical issues in the black community: education and employment, religious freedom, violence, and justice for the unborn…”

Trump has been doing a lot of outreach into the Black Community. He wants people to know that he will represent ALL Americans and not be beholden to a special interest group. And it’s been working. As you can see in the video below, Trump now is polling at 19% of the African American vote. That is a tremendous increase from the single digits!
People in every community are sick and tired of career politicians who sell them out. So, this dramatic shift shouldn’t be too surprising. And it might translate into a win on November 8th!
Share this if you are voting for Donald Trump!
