Donald Trump has selected Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions as his Attorney General.

Sessions was the first U.S. Senator to endorse Trump and had been rumored for numerous positions in his cabinet including Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense.

Take a look at the announcement:

Sessions served as the Attorney General in his home state of Alabama.

He is also chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration, and served as an adviser on Trump’s immigration policy plan during his campaign.

Along with Sessions appointment to Attorney General, Trump has chosen Rep. Mike Pompeo to become the new CIA Director and retired General Mike Flynn will serve as his national security adviser.
