Hollywood writer-director Paul Schrader known for writing Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, and The Last Temptation of Christ issued a call for violence to stop Donald Trump.

He issued his call on Facebook.

“I have spent the last five days meditating on Trump’s election. Upon consideration, I believe this is a call to violence. I felt the call to violence in the 60’s and I feel it now again.”

That was just the beginning.

He continued, “We should finance those who support violence resistance. We should be willing to take arms. Like Old John Brown, I am willing to battle with my children. Alt right nut jobs swagger violence. It’s time to actualize that violence.”

Schrader isn’t the first one to issue a call to violence.

Earlier today we reported on PacketSled CEO Matt Harrigan who repeatedly stated he wanted to kill Donald Trump and was willing to acquire a sniper rifle to do the deed.

Infowars also reports that Guardian columnist Monisha Rajesh encouraged an assassination when she tweeted, “It’s about time for a presidential assassination.”

Their band of psychotic followers are taking up this charge.

Just last night, a house was set on fire while another was vandalized in Hillsborough County, Florida.

We’ve also shown you video of a man being dragged out of his car and savagely beaten for supporting Donald Trump.

Riots erupted in Portland where property was destroyed and even reporters were being attacked in Richmond.

The violence has even spread across the ocean where a celebrity chef was beaten for looking like Donald Trump.

Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway demanded Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama condemn the violence, but so far they have been mum.

These people should be arrested for inciting violence and promoting destruction of property as well as assault. Their crimes must be punished!

Donald Trump condemned the violence on 60 Minutes.
