After a bitter and nasty end to the Republican National Convention, Ted Cruz is turning the corner and embracing Donald Trump.

The former presidential candidate and current junior Senator from Texas will hit the campaign trail for the first time for Donald Trump with vice presidential nominee and Governor of Indiana Mike Pence for two events today.

Pence spokesman Marc Lotter confirmed the news on Twitter.

Cruz and Pence will be in Prole, Iowa today and then head to Portage, Michigan in the afternoon.

Cruz endorsed Donald Trump on September 23.

“After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.”

This is absolutely fabulous news that Ted Cruz is getting fully onboard to campaign with Donald Trump. The more the merrier to defeat Hillary Clinton who is likely to be indicted over a Clinton Foundation investigation involving her pay to play activities when she helmed the State Department.

Share if you love that Ted Cruz is hitting the campaign trail for Donald Trump!
